Delivery

We send our parcels by “next day delivery” with our courier partners DPD. Please note next day delivery is NOT GUARANTEED although in our experience it is 99% successful. We endeavour to send our parcels as soon as possible after receiving the order – dispatch days are Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Weekend deliveries are also available at a surcharge. DPD will text and email a delivery window on the day of delivery – please make sure someone is in to accept your order.

If you have a specific time and date you need your parcel please leave a message in the notes section and we will try to accommodate this. Please note if parcels are unable to be delivered on Friday, DPD will NOT attempt redelivery until the following Monday.

If you need to change the delivery date of your order you MUST contact us personally on 0208 200 1119 and email on contact@guptas.co.uk. Please note that emails cannot be responded to immediately although they are checked throughout the day. If you change the date of delivery after you receive your DPD tracking number you will still receive the same parcel after it has been sitting in DPD’s warehouse until the new delivery date.

Once your parcel has left us, the responsibility for delivery is with DPD. If there are any issues regarding delivery you must contact DPD with the tracking number on 0121 275 0500 and not Gupta's. Issues may include DPD being unable to deliver due to no one being available to receive the package. If this may be the case you have the option to change delivery details (for example instruct to leave with a neighbour or safe place) once you have received your tracking number.

We cannot take any responsibility if DPD fail to deliver on time – DPD will attempt to deliver twice, after which the parcel is returned to us. If this is the case we may charge you £8.00 to cover the return fee charged by DPD. We cannot offer refunds or credits if DPD fail to deliver on time unless exceptional circumstances occur.

Please note most items for sale on our website for shipping have an ambient shelf life of at least one week, so there is very little chance of any item spoiling.

Unfortunately, we cannot take any responsibility for damaged items, as the way in which the courier handles our parcels is out of our control.
